Duotone Photographic Exhibition

One of the central guidelines of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival is celebrating diversity. We honour this not only in the amazing array of local and international artists on stage, we pay homage to their unique talents and view their lives at work through the lenses of photographic professionals.

This year is no different. The Duotone Photographic Exhibition is pleased to once again present a world class photographic exhibition documenting the lives of local and international jazz musicians. We are proud to exhibit the works of Oscar Gutierrez, (Guatemala) Victor Matom (JHB) and Shadley Lombard (CT)

Last year we paid tribute to women by showcasing the works of three leading female photographers. This year, we uphold our commitment to honour women by exhibiting photographs of female jazz artists of yester-year.

Through the lens, our three outstanding photographers uniquely capture the essence of femininity and artistic genius in a single frame.

The fun, the intensity, the hard work and the love of jazz jumps out at you as these amazing photographs focus on “Women in Jazz”

These photographer’s luminary work have captivated audiences world-wide and we have no doubt that this exhibition will be the focal point of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.
